media compression

Today, I will learn what media compression is. This is my most interesting topic because I really like editing videos. In this topic, I have some understanding of media compression, but I don't know how it really works in the media. The knowledge I have is that I know that higher compression rates have lower quality. I also know that the quality between 144p and 2140p this is the quality of the video, but I don’t know how it works, I think this is the reason for learning it.

In today's topic, I have learned a lot. The first thing I learned is video compression in video compression. I know that each individual image that makes up a video is called a frame. When you have more frames it means you have a higher quality video, but more frames are also means you will get larger files. The second thing I learned is how to make the file smaller. I used to lower the frame because a low frame rate is the easiest way to reduce the file size, but lowering the frame rate will also reduce the data rate. In today’s task, I also learned 3 different ways to shrink the file. The first method is, if you you have to think that do you need the bright colors in the video?if not you can removed the colour. The second method is to change the size when you have fewer pixels, thereby making the file smaller. The third thing I learned is that sound can also make your files smaller. The reason is that when you have higher quality sound, you need the largest file, but if you reduce the quality, it will also reduce the file size, but It depends on what you need for better sound quality.

In today's topic, I also learned the diffrent type of compress types, such as lossy and lossless. The difference between them is that lossy will Damaged, deleted or "lost" information. On the other hand,  lossless compression of the file, no information will be lost or changed however this is not a very effective way to reduce the file size.
