Today, I am studying media representation, this is the first time I understand this term. Although the media representatives are just people who want to represent what they want to say. A specific ideology or value. In the first video, I heard a lot of opinions about what media representatives are. For example, Samson Benito said that some cultures need to be represented and some people need to be represented. In my opinion, I think this is true because I think the world we live in is unfair, so if you have any disagreement or dissatisfaction, using the media to express what happened is to share with the world in a good way.


I was also heard of another person saying that if you are sharing some bad things. You are creating a bad



content that will harm your audience. In my opinion, I think this is also correct, because I think you have the right to stand, but your position is opposite and may hurt people like you.


I think that the definition of representation is the harbinger of the cornerstone of media research. It traditionally looks at how the media expresses it literally like a social group or even a place, but I also think that media representation has another meaning, almost like a photocopy. The challenge of approaching accuracy represents the idea. I think this is true, but it also includes the meaning given to these events literally by the media, and they may decide to give a stand representative.


In general, I think media representation is like history because the media explains the past and shows us what makes us what we are. We must rely on the media to ask us to learn and use critical thinking skills.
