So lets get started, I know we all use different adobe software out there so here’s an interesting piece of information for you.

Did you know that in early October 2013 it had been revealed that adobe was hacked by hackers

 and that they had somehow stolen encrypted credit card and login information from millions of users. It is also said that they exposed customer names and usernames.

I mean me personally I don’t know much that they can do with usernames but that’s just me.

So guys the takeaway message from this is that even the most unexpected companies that are unlikely to be hacked can be hacked which is why we must all be very careful and always make strong passwords and usernames

So back in 2014 sony was hacked because of a movie they released which mocked kim jong-un, the leader of north korea. So they targeted theaters that were going to release the movie'the interview' starring james franco and seth rogen. and this forced sony to release the movie online.

 Hahah can you believe that these guys legit bullied sony, a multimillion dollar company

So guys the takeaway from this is DO NOT MOCK KIM JONG -UN LIKE SERIOUSLY DON’T

But hearing that sony was hacked by these guys really upset me because I like the playstaion.

The next topic we want to discuss will be Facebooks digital age for teenagers. And what exactly is the digital age you ask?

The digital age as we know it today, is the era in which computers and other tech are more widely available to the masses. This allows people to freely transfer and receive information across the globe. Social media is one of the biggest ways in which we do this.

Teenagers use social media as a means of staying connected with friends, like?

joining in on conversations, learning about current events, and meeting new people but there can be many risks that come along with using social media such as pervasive targeted advertising, scams, manipulative product designs and even unwanted contact by someone who is a lot older and possibly dangerous.

This is where Facebook comes in?

Facebook has introduced a new privacy protection for teens. These changes are intended to protect children under the age of 18. This is huge news and when it comes into effect, advertisers will only be able to target people under 18 on their age based on their age, gender or location on Facebook, Instagram and messenger. Facebook and Instagram users can change their settings to not receive tailored ads, Instagram is no longer allowing users under 13 to have an account and children under the age of 16 will by default have their account automatically set to private.

All these measures being taken are a step in the right direction but we still have a long way to go when it comes to protecting our data and privacy in the current age.

Today, I want to talk about the valuable information I found in the study skills video. I found the first thing is the active recalled. Active recall means that you must recall what you know without looking at the answers. I think this technique is very good compared to my previous experience. From my previous experience, I read the text many times because it is the easiest method and there is no pressure but the most efficient way of learning is active learning. Even if you think that active recall is a difficult way to learn, but it will make more effort and will make your brain more active, which will allow you to get better retain knowledge.
